離乳食を始めています。粉ミルクを売っている会社が出している一日何回どのくらいあげるのか書いてあるチャートをみながら頑張って与えています。ちょっと前にやっとミルクのボトルがわかって口を開けるだけだったのに、今ではゴハンの入っているボールやスプーンを差し出すとちゃんと口を開けるようにまでなりました。ニンジン、リンゴちゃん、ポテト、バナナちゃんなどなどです。パパがお肉とかあげようとするんだけどママとしてはやっぱりちゃんと調べてからがいーなーと思ってます。日本に帰ったときやっぱり東京のおばあちゃんに言われたように離乳食の本買ってくるんだったと今後悔しております。こっちにいると日本の離乳食事情って物はさっぱりわからないので。ともかくアヤネのごはん食べているところみてやってください。２バージョンありまーす。

We started feeding Ayane baby food like rice cereal, banana, carrot, green beans, tofu. We found a chart from the baby formula company and we are following it as our guide. I thought she just visually understood what the milk bottle is and opens her mouth but now she opens her mouth for not only bottles but those baby food and spoon. Daddy tries to feed her meat he is eating but me like you know I like to find out first what the meat really does to my baby like good or OK or bad. Like my mom said it was better to get a Japanese book for feeding baby food when I went home last time. I can get ideas of how to feed baby here like Americans but not how Japanese feed baby. American people don't feed baby tofu too much like Japanese. I want Ayane to be able to enjoy Japanese food like I/Japanese do. Well, please watch how she eat food. There are 2 version..

ママのホームメイドスタイ/Homemade baby bib

ママはもうおしゃぶりホルダーを何個も作ってしまって、今度はよだれ掛け作りにはまっています。アヤネの入園時に買って袋を作ったときの生地と使ってないキッチンタオルで１つ目を作りました。2つ目はパパの着てないTシャツで作りました。３っ目はアップリケ付きのを作りました。ママすごーい！なーんて！！アップリケって言ったって、切り端を無理やり付けてジグザグステッチの練習のために縫って試したらそうなったってだけです。

Mommy is obsessing to make Ayane's bibs since mommy had made enough amount of pacifier clips. The first one with a kitchen towel and fabric I used for Ayane's pouch for day care. The second one with daddy's old T shirt. The third one is with applique which I just trimmed the leftover fabric and tried out the zigzag stitches.

Oh Makiba ha Midoriも皆さんに（自分も含めて）1000回も見ていただきました。イェ－ィ！！家族との、友達とのつながりを深める目的で2006年にジェシカニ教えてもらって始めてここまできました。全然パソコンも何もわからなかったのに新しいコンピューターも買い、カウンターなんて入れられるようにまでになりました。カウンターを見て喜びカウンターを見て更新してないのに「こんな数の人にチェックしてもらってルー」って頑張ってまーす。誰でもコメント入れられるようにしたのでコメント入れてもらえるともっとやる気が出てくるのでひき続きコメントよろしくお願いしまーす。

Oh Makiba ha Midori was viewed by people over 1000 times,lol Back in 2006, Jessica taught me how to do this thing and I started this blog to have a better connection with my family and friend. I had no idea about anything but now I have my new new computer and even put web counter on my blog too. The number on this web counter made me happy. I was encouraged by finding out how many people are checking my blog and told myself I need to update my blog soon feeling bad about people who must have seen the same stuff every time they check it, sorry!! ハロウィーン/Halloween

１０月３１日はハロウィーンでした。学校の生徒が作ったパパの顔をしたジャッコーランタンです。パパが学校の寮長だからなのか、パパは生徒に人気だからなのでしょうか？パパの口ってこんなに大きかったかしら？？

It was Halloween last week? This is Daddy's face which his students made. I am not sure whose idea it was...but this is daddy's face. Maybe it's because he is the residential Director or maybe he is popular??

パパとママの仕事が終わってから、パパが育った近所の人たちの家を訪ねました。アヤネはパパが日本から買ってきたてんとう虫チャンの服を着ました。パパが仕事中はジョンおじさんの家で尋ねてきた子供たちにお菓子をあげるのを手伝いました（って、隣で立ってただけ！）

After daddy came home from work, we visited his old neighbor. Ayane was in her ladybug clothes on. While we were waiting for daddy to come home, we helped uncle Jon to give out the candies by just standing outside being cute with mommy.

紅葉フェスティバル/Foliage Festival

先週なんですがまたハーバード大学アーノルド木樹園の紅葉フェスティバルにアヤネと２人で行ってきました。見たこともないような大勢いの人たちがいました。いつも行くとちょっとの人しかいないのですが、その日はこの場所のことをこんなに知っている人がいるのかと思うような人の多さでした。天気もとってもよかったからだと思うけど。紅葉のピークはもう過ぎて葉が散り始めてますがまだまだキレイです。子供のための押し葉作りやらバンドのグループもいて楽しかったです。アヤネは最後はだけ寝ちゃいました。

Me and Ayane went to Arnold Arboretum again for Foliage Festival. I wanted to send my students there if it's nice so I went to see how the festival is like. So many cars and people were there. Every time I go there I see several group of people or individuals only. There were like at least a hundred of people. There was a Folk music band playing, activities for children, hayride, people from AA explaining what they do and tractors they use for taking care of trees there etc. It was so nice that day. Ayane was up most of the time there but as usual fell asleep at the end.
